Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar – A Warm Island Welcome

Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be greeted by a Favor Expeditions representative and transferred to your boutique hotel in Stone Town. The day is yours to unwind after your journey. In the evening, step out to the lively Forodhani Gardens for a taste of Zanzibar’s vibrant night market or dine by the waterfront as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

Day 2: Stone Town & Spice Tour – Discovering Zanzibar’s Soul

Begin your day with a guided tour through Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its winding streets and rich cultural tapestry. Visit the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, the former Slave Market, and the Sultan’s Palace, each revealing a story of Zanzibar’s storied past.
In the afternoon, head into the countryside for a sensory-filled Spice Tour. Discover why Zanzibar is known as the Spice Island as you touch, smell, and taste cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. Return to your hotel for a traditional Swahili dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Nungwi – Where the Ocean Beckons

After breakfast, you’ll journey north to Nungwi, one of Zanzibar’s most beautiful beaches. The turquoise waters and soft white sands make this an idyllic paradise for relaxation. Check in to your seaside resort and spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, or enjoying a refreshing cocktail by the ocean.

Day 4: Leisure & Exploration – The Beauty of Mnemba Atoll

Today is at leisure to relax or enjoy optional excursions. We recommend a half-day snorkeling trip to Mnemba Atoll, where you’ll swim alongside colorful tropical fish and vibrant coral reefs. Alternatively, indulge in a spa treatment or embark on a sunset dhow cruise, gliding gently across the sea as the sky turns gold.

Day 5: Farewell Zanzibar

Enjoy a final breakfast overlooking the ocean. Depending on your flight schedule, you may take a short stroll along the beach before your private transfer to the airport. Leave with memories of turquoise waters, fragrant spices, and the warmth of Zanzibari hospitality.
